Ateneo Codec's PledgePage
This form attempts to solicit pledges from alumni and friends to support the Ateneo de Naga Coders' Circle (Codec) - a group of talented students who will be trained to represent ADNU in programming competitions here and abroad. The Mission-Vision of the group is two-fold: (a) To win the annual ACM ICPC Philippine National Programming Contest; and (b) compete in the ACM ICPC Regionals and World Finals.
As you all know, experience is still the best teacher. No matter how we conduct lectures on Competitive Programming, nothing beats the experience of competing amongst the best in the region. We appeal to our alumni and friends to help us raise fund and pledge support for the group. News Flash!! ========== In the recently concluded 2014 ACM-ICPC Philippines National Programming Contest, Ateneo de Naga Teams performed really well against their competitors. Team Xavier placed 3rd over-all in the national ranking solving 9 out of 10 problems. This achievement broke the 6/10 solved problems record by ADNU in the history of the school joining the National Contest. They are followed by ignatius who ranked 8th, Faber (14th), and Lainez (25th). Our school placed second overall in the Top Performing Schools in the Philippines. This feat proves that our students are ready and they deserve to compete in the international arena and with among the best students in the world. Our initial plan is to send at least a team in the following contests this year: 2014 ACM-ICPC Philippines Northern Luzon Invitationals on September 26-27, 2014 2014 ACM-ICPC Asia Bangkok Regional Contest on November 14-15, 2014 2014 ACM-ICPC Asia Jakarta Regional Contest With your support, you can help us make this dream come true. |
